I love the work that God has called me to! It often means heaps of travel! After my 3 month outreach to the Kimberley and Papua, I spent a few weeks at my home in Perth and then I set out again for another month in the Kimberley!
My team and I spent a lot of time on this trip connecting with local ministries and churches and individuals who work in the communities and work with Aboriginal people in order to partner with them in ministry when we move up here permanently next year!
We also spent 2 weeks in the remote community where Cheamay (my student from earlier this year) lives. We got to really invest more in her and her family and her community. We spoke and shared several times at the local church in order to encourage the Christians there, and we worked in the school, helping the teachers in the classrooms.
It was an amazing time of laying foundations for the future when we move up there long term!
One of my favourite moments from this trip was after I shared a message in church. I felt like I really didn't do a good job, but after I was done, many of the aboriginal people came up and shared testimonies of how God has been working in their lives and were able to relate to the message I shared.
One woman came up and shared a vision that God gave her about angels watching over the community. She is passionate about sharing God to others now because of this vision God gave her.
