Dear Friends of A Living Library,

In advance of #GivingTuesday on December 03, we thank you for your support that helped A Living Library bring positive ecological and social change through community involvement across neighborhoods and schools in San Francisco and New York City.
With your generous contributions, we have been able to:
• Provide FREE Organic Gardening and CA Native Plant Classes and Workshops for all ages; promoting the concept of farm-to-table, urban agriculture, storm-water reuse, watershed rejuvenation, and other related issues.
• Conduct Year-Round A.L.L. STEAM + Literacy Classes in our beautiful Branch Living Library & Think Park outdoor garden classrooms for thousands of PreK-12 students.
• Provide Paid internships for Middle School & High School - to Age 24 Youth in A.L.L. Green Futures Job Training Program focused on green job skills and sustainable business practices and opportunities.
• Transform barren concrete and asphalt urban landscapes into Ecological, Healthy Community Spaces, and build blue/ green infrastructure that helps in ground and storm-water reuse, and helps mitigate flooding, while also addressing climate change and other systemic issues.
A Living Library goal is to work with many more communities and schools - locally and globally - creating place-based, greener neighborhoods that raise awareness about our environment, our cultures and interconnections.
