Thank you for joining us in prayer this week.  We acknowledge together that God is greater, that he is our hope and comfort and that he reigns over all things.

EARTHQUAKE - ALBANIA

Please continue to pray for our partner church in Durres Albania after an earthquake measuring 6.4 occurred on 26 November.  There are reports of loss of life and people trapped in buildings. Pray the church will not only be safe but be a blessing and support to the wider community at this time of fear and uncertainty.

KEITH & BARBIE JACKSON – SOUTH AFRICA

South Africa has suffered many months of drought recently.  Keith & Barbie are gratefully reporting that rains have arrived and that their town has ‘changed to a mass of green this week after being bare and stark for what seems forever’.  Join them in thanking God for His blessing.

Celebrate:

  • Keith is currently heading up church planting for Emmanuel Assemblies across Limpopo. There is a church plant happening right now for two weeks with a mission in Mokotopong, near Polokwane. Thank God for new converts and growing attendance.
  • For the support from the UK for baby’s boxes which Barbie gives to expectant and new mums.
  • Our wonderfully patient language teacher and that our lessons are progressing in Sepedi.
Challenges:
  • We have a severe drought in Phalaborwa but last week had 280 millimetres of rain in a few days and massive storms. This has caused damage to our house, but due to technicalities, not all the damage is covered by insurance.
  • We are still waiting for the SA Nursing Council to recognise Barbie’s UK midwifery qualifications, so that our mobile clinic can commence.
  • We are travelling a lot and the distances involved are challenging and some roads are dangerous, so prayers for safety are always welcome.
