Counterterrorism policy (and a lot of other policies, frankly) that doesn't reckon with people's desire for reliable infrastructure (both physical and political) is bound to see new groups like ISIS form.

  • A new chain of Christian pregnancy centers will provide a controversial service: Contraception – Sarah Pulliam Bailey, The Washington Post – The headline may focus on contraception, but what's really interesting about these crisis pregnancy centers is that they're trying to provide more comprehensive health care for young women – recognizing the holistic needs that attend having a body and carrying another's.
