Virtual Support Group 

 

Join us for a moderated Patient to Patient Virtual Support Group Call on the first Wednesday of every month. Join us by phone, tablet, or computer.
 
The next call is on December 4th. Join us in your time zone at the time given below;

This is a new group, so we are mailing both Active Surveillance (AS) and Low/Intermediate lists initially. Please email richj@ancan.org to let us know if you want to receive prenotifications for one or both of these groups.
 
What we want to create is a safe place where you can speak openly and honestly about issues that are confronting you. Navigating AS alone can be challenging and stressful, but having a community of support can help to alleviate that stress. The sea changes occurring now in AS are many. They will continue to be challenging for men on their cancer journey.
 
Together we can share our experience, strength, and wisdom. We will discuss topics of concern and matters of importance for the men calling in. We hope you will join us. By doing so you will help us by talking about issues you find important, meaningful, and even troublesome. You are welcome to come and just listen, but we do encourage participation.
 
Finding and using your voice is an important way to help men recover their sense of purpose and helps them recover control of their lives after a diagnosis of cancer.
