Tree lighting this Sunday!
Party from 4:45 to 5:45, tree lighting at 5:15

We’ll start pouring free hot cocoa  at 4:45, and at 5:00 the Kensington Police Department will shut down the Circle for the festivities. The countdown and tree lighting ceremony will happen at 5:15, and the Circle will be closed to traffic until 5:45 for photos, to stroll with your sweetheart (it's so Hallmark!) and make the scene with your neighbors.
 
Meanwhile we’ll see you Sunday morning at the Market to lay in a fresh (and refreshing) supply of greens, herbs and other produce, fresh California strawberries from Anguianos, olive oil from Big Paw Olive Oil, seafood from Anna’s and … well, everything that’s not Thanksgiving.

The Fill Ins

Started by Miles and Teo Quale, The Fill Ins are a group of friends who enjoy playing jazz. Aside from Teo, they all met at Oak- land School for the Arts. 

Miles is a violinist and fiddler. opening for bands including The Del McCoury Band and David Grisman Bluegrass Experience. Teo is a multi-instrumen- talist who also has an acoustic duo band, Crying Uncle, with his brother Miles. Felix Silbelus is a sophomore at Oakland School for the Arts, playing guitar as well as piano. Makena Devlin has been plays electric and upright bass s and also attends OSA. She plays primarily jazz.
