Hi All!

Here’s your weekly dose of FIVER FRIDAY, a list of what I've found useful or informational this week concerning education.

Tweet I'm liking--

You can find an image with a transparent background via Google, which is great when working in Google Slides and Drawings. Make sure you view the whole GIF within the tweet; there's a trick toward the end I didn't know was possible in Chrome. I also really like this tweet by Hans Tullmann.

Podcast episode I'm listening to--

Glean Education: Episode 3--Principal Sharon Dunn. Sharon Dunn does an excellent job sharing Loudon's Elementary's journey. Her story shines a light on the importance of boosting literacy progress.

Post I'm writing--

Here are the books I've read in 2019. I may be able to sneak one more in before the year is over. If I do, it'll probably be this one. If you'd like to see everything I've read and watched in 2019, you can read this page on my blog. (If you're interested in what I read in 2018, here you go.)

Book club in which I'm participating--
Even if you haven't finished reading Stillness Is the Key, we'd love to have you! This will be our second (and last) discussion.

Quote I'm pondering--

“Convince yourself that everything is the gift of the gods, that things are good and always will be."--Marcus Aurelius
