It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and there’s no better place to share the season with friends and family than Salt Creek Grille, the Jersey Shore’s most popular waterfront restaurant.
Now decked out in their holiday finest, Salt Creek is planning special menus for both Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. Executive Chef Bob Belt has created a delicious Christmas Eve dinner menu filled with specially selected signature dishes and new creations, too. On that day, the bar/lounge will open at 4 p.m. for cocktails with a special bar menu, and dinner will be served from 5 until 9 p.m.

If you need a last-minute gift, gift cards make a perfect gift for anyone; plus when you purchase $100 (no expiration date), you get a $25 reward card (expires in February) for yourself.

For New Year’s Eve, there are two ways to celebrate: For an intimate and extraordinary dining celebration Chef Belt has created a special a la carte dinner menu featuring many Salt Creek Grille favorites available from 4 – 11 p.m.

Then, it’s time to take your celebration to the next level with dining, dancing and celebrating at Salt Creek Grille’s annual New Year’s Eve Gala from 9 p.m. – 1 a.m. This $130 package includes a decadent dinner, 4-hour Open Bar, Music by Affair 2 Remember, Photo Booth, Champagne Toast, Times Square Countdown Celebration on a large screen TV and Party Favors. The package price excludes tax and gratuity. And, as a gift for ringing in the New Year with Salt Creek Grille, each guest will receive a $20 reward card to be used on a future date, expires in February 2020.

On New Year’s Day the restaurant will be open for cocktails and bar menu at 4 p.m. and for regular dinner service at 5 p.m.

IT ALL BEGAN WITH THE BREAD....

Joe Leone’s opened in 1997 as an Italian Specialty Retail Store with a focus on Chef & Co-Founder Joe Leone Introna’s true passion: Hoboken Style

Italian Bread. Although there were multiple features to the operation, Joe Leone’s was a Bread Bakery, first, and foremost.

The glassed-out centerpiece of the original retail store, the bakery produced fresh loaves, rolls and stuffed breads throughout the course of the each day, often serving warm batches to customers as they witnessed them coming out of the oven.

Originally limited to White Italian and Semolina styles and a production of approximately 100-150 pieces per day, Joe Leone’s Bakery has expanded and modified operations over time to include multiple dough styles, bread styles, stuffed breads and now produces thousands of pieces per day to supply both retail locations, a catering operation and a handful of local, small volume wholesale accounts.

Joe Leone’s Bakery also has developed a Sweets program to complement the bread offerings featuring Pignoli Cookies and a variety of styles of other cookies, pastries and traditional specialty items such as St. Joseph Pastries (March), Wheat Pies and Ricotta Pies (Christmas & Easter).

Hoboken Style Italian Bread
Hoboken Style bread has a hard, crunchy crust and has a consistency inside that’s airy and chewy but not fluffy.
Dough Styles
White Italian, Semolina, Whole Wheat, Ciabatta, Sourdough & Rye as well as occasional daily features, seasonal items such as Autumn Harvest Loaves (Fall) and holiday favorites such as Egg Breads (Easter) and Filone Loaves (Christmas).
