Annual Membership Meeting
of the Lovettsville Historical Society, Inc.

You are receiving this notice, because our records show you as a paid-up member of the Lovettsville Historical Society, although your membership will expire on December 31, 2019, and we hope you will renew by then. If you think our records are in error, please let us know immediately.
The Annual Membership Meeting of the Lovettsville Historical Society, Inc. will be held on Sunday, December 15, at 2:00 p.m., at the Lovettsville Museum, 4 East Pennsylvania Avenue, next to the Lovettsville Town Hall.
The Annual Meeting will include a report on the past year's activities as well as upcoming events, and will conduct such business as is required, including election of the Board of Directors for the coming year. Light refreshments will be served.
Nominations for the 2019 Board of Directors:
Under our By-Laws, up to 15 Directors can be elected to serve on the LHS Board of Directors. We currently have 11 Directors serving; most of these are expected to stand for re-election. Additional nominations may be made by any member in good standing.
Please submit any new nominations, including volunteer self-nominations, to the Lovettsville Historical Society, P.O. Box 5, Lovettsville VA 20180, Attn: Mike Zapf, Secretary; or to send by email, email us by midnight EST, Friday, Dec. 6, 2019, with the subject line marked “nominations”.
A ballot consisting of the complete list of nominations will then be sent out to all members by no later than Monday, Dec. 9. Voting can be in person at the Annual Meeting, or by email or regular mail, provided that the ballot is received by midnight EST on Friday, Dec. 13.
Voting is restricted to members whose dues are paid-up at the time of the Annual Meeting.
Officers will be elected by the new Board of Directors at a regular Board Meeting following the Annual Meeting.

Membership fees may be paid by cash or check at the Museum on any Saturday, or at the Annual Membership meeting. We do not have the ability to accept credit cards at this time. To pay by mail, write to:
