With a BFA in Painting and Drawing from the University of Utah, Ben Steele imbues his paintings with tongue-in-cheek references to predecessors such as Leonardo da Vinci, Edgar Degas, Marc Chagall, and Jeff Koons. The subject matter may vary greatly, but it weaves in history and pop culture. "Most of the time, I feel like I honor my subjects, but I absolutely am not above making fun of them,” he says. more

James Corbett has been creating his incredibly life-like sculptures since 1998. At the time he was the proprietor of a specialist motor wrecking business in Brisbane, Australia. One rainy Saturday afternoon he decided to bring to fruition some thoughts that had been in the back of his mind for some time. He began welding together some parts, and the rest is history. more
