Birding graphic
It has become a tradition that every year in late November or Early December, Mayne Island Conservancy holds a Winter Bird identification event. We decided to take a different approach for 2019. We are holding two sessions this year that are more interactive. You will learn where to look for birds, how to identify them by their song and habits, and how to estimate numbers for those of you participating in the annual Christmas Bird Count scheduled for Saturday December 14th.

Join the Mayne Island Conservancy's Executive Director & life long bird enthusiast Michael Dunn, along with other experienced birders for an exploration of Mayne Islands terrestrial, shoreline and marine winter bird habitats. [READ MORE]

For further information please contact Nancy Gibson (604) 370-2670.
