GSA's Annual Fundraising Banquet
GSA's Annual Fundraising Banquet was held on January 18th and was very successful! May Allah accept from all donors and reward them abundantly.
This event was hosted by 2 of our students Samir Shekh (8th grade) and Yusef Siddiqui (2nd grade) with performances from GSA students.
Academics
FAU Visit
Our High School students showed interest in attending FAU and an informative tour was scheduled.
MAP TESTING
MAP test #2 was scheduled in January. Our students academic progress is measured from the beginning of the school year to the present.
MAP measures what students know and informs what they are ready to learn next.
PARENT BREAKFAST-ACADEMIC AWARDS
Students received certificates for Mid-Year awards in Gold and Silver Honor Roll for semester 1, SRI advanced in reading and advanced in MAP testing.
A continental breakfast was also prepared for our parents.

Fun and Recreational Activities
Staff vs. upper school boys soccer game, School Choice Week activities, Muffins "by" moms baking contest.
Community Engagement
Making an impact against this disease, students of GSA's National Honor Society and Junior Honor Society along with GSA staff and parents, participated in the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Walk.
Monthly Recycle Program Pepsico Recycle Rally Contest at GSA
January’s Winners:
