Dear Benton and Linn Co. friends,

We’re looking forward to seeing each and every one of you at our quarterly gathering tonight.

Just a reminder - the gathering will be held from 6:00p - 8:00p at Albany First Christian Church 432 Ferry St. SW Albany, OR 97321. During the gathering we’ll:

  • Celebrate the Chief Justice of Oregon joining our Circle of Protection by issuing an emergency rule prohibiting ICE arrests in courthouses.

  • Test out a new resource for discerning how and when to engage around “flashpoints” (often unpredictable moments when violence and injustice flare up in the media and public consciousness).

  • Look ahead to 2020, exploring how we can put our faith into action around the federal policy relating to asylum-seekers and how we can counter white nationalism in the upcoming election year.

  • Continue to build our interfaith community during this holiday season.

See you soon.

In solidarity,

Alaide, Ron & Sarah

PS. As we continue to weave our statewide community, we encourage you to join with others from your congregation at your home IMIrJ Quarterly Gathering. We also invite you to consider joining us at a Quarterly Gathering in another region of the state to connect with IMIrJ leaders in other areas and share learnings/stories. If you’re planning to attend a gathering not in your home region, email us to let us know so we can coordinate!

You can RSVP and SHARE your Gathering via the links below.
