PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
We would like to thank Raoul De La Sota for his entertaining and informative demonstration on how to create landscapes on wood with fabric scraps. We came up with a great variety of images following his instructions.
The December 12th Meeting will be our holiday paint around where everyone will get a chance to paint with oils, acrylics, and watercolors. If you wish to participate in our gift exchange, please bring a $10.00 wrapped gift to exchange. Also, you may bring packaged snacks to share. We will give the mini-show another try too, so bring a painting to show for that. Remember our meeting location has changed to 222 E. Harvard St., Glendale, CA. Look for the Maker Room in the Glendale Central Library, 6:30pm till 8:30pm. REMINDER
Tuesday Dec. 3rd is the take down date for DIGGS at 10am. Please be there on time if you have work to pick up.
Thursday Dec. 5th at 10am at 123 Artsakh Ave. is our City Windows exchange for this month. Juan asked that we bring holiday themed art work for this month. MEMBER NEWS Jasmine K. participated in the Armenian American Art Association exhibition at Golden Ocean on November 21st with 4 lovely works of art. Helena J., , Patty O'H. and Jane T. are participating in La Galeria Gitana show "Big Ideas in Small Settings". Their opening reception is Saturday, December 7th at 6pm. at 120 N. Maclay Ave Ste E, San Fernando, CA 91340. Vivianne B. will have her creative one-of-a-kind scarves for sale at La Galería Gitana as well. Helena J. and Vivianne B. donated several small paintings for a fundraiser to support art education in the Burbank public schools. Charlene N. is participating in a holiday ceramics show and sale at the La Cañada Flintridge Community Center, 4469 Chevy Chase Dr., on December 13, 14, and 15th from 11am to 5pm. (818)790-4353.
