Hall Of Fame!
We’re super excited to have won Gold for the third year running in the prestigious 2019 Perth Airport WA Tourism Awards! Clocking up three consecutive Gold Awards in the ‘Self Contained Accommodation’ category sees Balingup Heights inducted into the WA Tourism Hall of Fame!
The announcement was made at a Gala Dinner at Crown Perth on  Saturday 9th November, 2019. As a Gold medallist we now go on to represent Western Australia at the Qantas Australian Tourism Awards, where we won bronze last year. That big announcement will be made in Canberra on March 6th, 2020.
Once again, we’d like to thank all of our amazing guests for their ongoing encouragement and support. A big thanks also to the many fantastic small businesses scattered throughout Balingup and the surrounding region. We’re very proud to be part of a small, vibrant town. Partnerships are key . . . and we fully appreciate that our continued growth depends not only on visitors enjoying their stay with us, but on them having fabulous experiences right throughout the region.

Million Dollar Dolphins
Bunbury's new-look Dolphin Discovery Centre has reopened with a bang following a multi-million dollar upgrade and expansion!
Whether you want to dive in and join the dolphins for a swim, interact with them from the beach or immerse yourself in the brand-new Interpretive Centre, the Dolphin Discovery Centre has something for all ages and capabilities. Plus, the cafe is great with an amazing vista of Koombana Bay! Our guests are raving about it, and we love it too, so it’s not surprising to hear that it’s now regarded as Australia’s premier wild dolphin experience!
Koombana Bay in Bunbury is a great spot to stop on your way to Balingup . . . alternatively, do it as a day trip as you explore the south west of WA from your Balingup home base!
