21 And you, who once were alienated and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds, 22 he has now reconciled in his body of flesh by his death, in order to present you holy and blameless and above reproach before him,

Colossians 1:21-22 ESV

Peace is something we all crave ... at work, at home, and in our world.  But what about peace WITH GOD? How can we experience that? In Christ, God provides the answer.

Without Jesus, Scripture says we are separated, alienated, and rejected by God because of our sin and spiritual rebellion against Him. Yet Christ came pay the price for our sin through the cross and thus make it possible for us to experience peace with God. Because God punished Him, He no longer has to punish us.

So even though we we were alienated from God, hostile in mind, and evil in deed, yet now, through faith in Christ, we stand before God as if we are holy, blameless, and beyond reproach. That is how we find peace with God. That is how we find reconciliation.

So today, revel in that reconciliation. Celebrate in your redemption and the restoration of your relationship with God. Then share that hope with who don't yet believe.
