News from the CHMS PTO

Please Take the D181 Climate Survey

You should have received a link to the District 2019-20 Climate Survey by email on Monday, Dec. 2. This annual climate survey is not only a requirement for all school districts in the state, it’s an opportunity to share how our District is performing with audiences near and far. More information can be found at www.d181.org/csci. If you did not receive the link to your school’s survey, please email communicatiosndepartment@d181.org.

Introducing Eagle Eats!

The CHMS PTO and a variety of community partners are joining forces to fundraise! Each month, the PTO will highlight a community partner who is offering a portion of their proceeds back to our school. All you have to do is shop on those days and mention the CHMS PTO! We have already partnered with Corner Bakery and Woodgrain Pizza.  Look for more great opportunities in the new year!

If you would like to help us with this fundraising effort, please contact vp@chmspto.org.  Time commitment is minimal, but return is great!

Give Back this Holiday Season with KIDS Grants

Does your child have an idea for giving back this holiday season? Did you know that KIDS grants provide $150 to help make that idea a reality? Any District 181 student can apply at any time during the year.  Just download the  application and guidelines on www.d181foundation.org, fill it out and email it back to us. Grant money can be received in as little as one week. Any questions? Please click HERE to contact the District 181 Foundation.

Shop for the Holidays. Amazon Gives!

Register to earn money for the PTO while you do your holiday shopping. When you shop Amazon through AmazonSmile choose us as your charity, and Amazon will donate 0.5% of your eligible purchases to the CHMS PTO. To begin shopping for CHMS PTO, simply enter Amazon through our unique link at https://smile.amazon.com/ch/36-4390010. That’s it!

Once you have chosen your charity, Amazon will remember this for future visits; you do not need to select your charity each time you shop. However, you DO need to begin your shopping session by entering Amazon through https://smile.amazon.com/ch/36-4390010. If you begin your shopping session by going directly to amazon.com instead of AmazonSmile, your purchases will NOT be tracked through AmazonSmile and we will not receive the donation.

Thank you for your support!
