Westchester County’s
Revolutionary War Era History:
Building Awareness and Appreciation
It’s been a busy and exciting year for RW250. Thank you for being a follower, fan and attendee! Twelve events, programs or special meetings happened this year.

Because of the continued interest and robust attendance at these and many other events this year,
RW250 is now recognized as an early and effective leader in the 250th anniversary commemoration planning in all of New York State. Thank you to our friends at The Hudson Independent for a fantastic article "Revolutionary Westchester 250" to Pursue Its Goals Through 2026.

RW250 has been working hard to promote related local events. On Thursday, December 19 join us for The Battle of Brooklyn presentation by Frank Licameli, 7:30 pm at Fort Montgomery State Historic Site (near West Point) more info here.

Now is the time to contact us, as Tarrytown has recently done, to explore partnering with RW250 for a presentation, program or Community Conversation in 2020.

And finally huzzah! Good news! We are thriled to share that on November 4, 2019
RW250 was granted non-profit tax status by the IRS as described under Sections 501(c)3 and 509(a)(1). See below for details and click here for determination letter
