I am so excited to share the news that Siblings Australia has been chosen as one of the recipients for an Individual Capacity Building (ICB) Grant through the federal Department of Social Services, for 3 years.
Those who have followed the Siblings Australia story over the last 21 years will understand how wonderful this is, given we have not had funding for the last 12 years and have been fighting for an outcome like this for that whole time. It means that Siblings Australia has a future and sibling support has a future. Of course there is much to be finalised, but I will follow up with more information about plans in the New Year.

You can access the Siblings Australia website, with its information for providers, parents and siblings, along with networking opportunities, and which continues to attract 7K visitors/80K visits per month.
Parents of children with disability can access my parent information sessions on supporting siblings. These are reimbursable via the NDIS and parents who have accessed this opportunity have found it very useful.
The Sibworks peer support program for young sibs is available for purchase by emailing me so please share with providers (disability, health or education).
