We share with you where all the CafeSmart $1's have gone to support community projects

This week we will be distributing $203,070 to 173 smaller organisations in support of their work in the community. This is a direct result of coffee lovers and the coffee industry coming together to hold our CafeSmart fundraiser back in August. Funding front-line homelessness and community services, in local communities, is what we are all about – and we are excited to finally share the funded projects with you.

The final two weeks of 2019 are busy with opportunities for people to get involved with our 2019 DineSmart event and StreetFunder initiative raising funds up to 31st December.
We couldn't do any of this without our supporters so a huge shout out to you all for sticking with us and making things happen this year.

CafeSmart Funds 173 Projects
With public funding uncertainty, many important organisations find it hard to test good ideas, extend proven programs, or fully fund their core work. Through our Community Grants, organisations get to direct funds to their priority areas and fill funding gaps. Check out where the $'s went on our blog here.
Donate A Safe Night's Sleep
This year's Christmas Appeal will be helping supply Sleep Kits to refuges and homeless services to help provide a safe nights sleep for people experiencing homelessness. For every $15 raised, in partnership with Sheridan, we will supply a towel and single sheet set.
Our annual DineSmart event runs up to New Years Eve. At 110+ top restaurants and cafes, staff will be encouraging diners to add a small donation on top of their bill. These micro donations all add up and will support local grassroots homeless services. Dine Out Help Out here.
