Season's Greetings

As we come to the end of 2019, we would like to share with you some important updates regarding the way you support our work.
A new way to support KWT in the USA

As we usher in the new decade, we are pleased to have partnered with Empowers Africa in order to provide a cost-effective and long-term solution to fundraising in the United States. Beginning this festive season, all donations to KWT from the U.S. will be processed by Empowers Africa.

Empowers Africa is a U.S. public charity under IRC Section 501(c)(3) that supports programs in the areas of human empowerment, wildlife protection and land conservation in sub-Saharan Africa and works with well-known conservation organizations including African Leadership University Foundation, Asilia Africa, Singita, and Wilderness Wildlife Trust.

You can donate to Kenya Wildlife Trust through Empowers Africa in either of the following ways below:

Message from the Executive Director

As we start the festive season and reflect on the events and achievements of the past year, we would like to pass our gratitude to you, our supporters. You have been critical in ensuring KWT’s success all through 2019.

2019 has been a year of progress for KWT; we reviewed our overall strategy, developed a communications strategy, and most recently redesigned our website. More insights on 2019’s achievements will be detailed in our annual report which we will share in the first quarter of 2020.

As we look forward to 2020, KWT has exciting plans as we start the implementation of our new strategy. Once again, thank you for your continued support to Kenya Wildlife Trust.

On behalf of the entire KWT team, I send my heartfelt gratitude and wish you Happy Holidays and a wonderful New Year.

Sincerely,

Irene Amoke, PhD
