In November students who were part of Ms. Luna's community service elective chose to do a project benefiting homeless animals.
Students spent the month hand-making dog and cat toys for shelter animals. At the end of the month, they went on a field trip to the Saint Paul Animal Humane Society, where they went on a tour of the facility, learned what the Humane Society does, and learned about different jobs related to animals and paths to these careers. They also got to meet, cuddle, and play with lots of animals.
