We are launching a new “Women Invest” series where we’ll be interviewing on stage some of the most influential women in finance and fintech to inspire more of us to get started investing.
I am super happy to invite you to a pre-Christmas celebration with a very special guest: Romi Savova, one of the most inspiring women in the fintech space. Co-founder and CEO of PensionBee (an online pension manager), Romi is on a mission to simplify pension savings in the UK, following a harrowing pension transfer experience of her own.
What to expect? A fireside chat with Romi about her journey from Goldman Sachs (at the start of the global financial crisis) to launching PensionBee, raising funding as a female founder, the importance of investing money for the long term, a clear jargon-free explanation of how pensions work and how can you make the most of them, followed by a Q&A and then drinks.

I am the founder and CEO of Vestpod. Formerly working in private equity, I launched Vestpod to change the conversation about money and empower women financially. I started my career at Lehman Brothers where I worked as an analyst in private equity merchant banking. Reflecting on my years working in finance, I realized I was not saving or investing enough and could not find the support to do so.
