New Yarn Alert!!!

We'll be getting a bunch of new yarns in over the next few weeks/months, and I'm pretty excited about the first two!

Liana is a linen + nylon blend from Berroco. Super shiny and in beautiful colors, I've had the chance to both knit and weave with it and it is a fascinating yarn. It softens up beautifully when washed and blocked while still retaining a nice sheen. I think it would be perfect for a dressy woven scarf or a knit shawl. Maybe even as trim on a jacket or some fun pop in a sweater.

Silk/Mohair is all the rage right now - and with good reason! Either by itself to make an ethereal fabric, or held with another yarn to add a soft halo, it can't be beat. While we love the solid colors of Shibui silk cloud that we've long carried,, we've now added an amazing new hand dyed silk/mohair yarn from local dyer, Murky Depths. Dyed up in the same gorgeous shades as her other yarns, they're great for pairing or striping.
