Season’s Greetings

The board of directors at the Saskatchewan Aviation Museum and Learning Centre wish you a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous 2020.

The museum has had a fantastic year of growth in 2019 and we see this continuing on into 2020. The number of school tours booked each semester is increasing as well as visitors coming through the door. Added to this is the exciting opportunity to fly in a Tiger Moth!

None of this would be possible without you, our members and volunteers. Together we are building a museum that showcases our rich aviation history and provides a unique learning experience for all. A heartfelt THANK-YOU to you for all of your contributions!

Holiday Hours: The museum will be closed December 25, 26 and January 1. Weekdays it will be open 9 to 4 and weekends 12 to 4. We hope you can stop by over the holiday season.

Toy Drive – Saskatoon International Airport Fire Department

In support of the Airport Fire Department’s toy drive, we have a donation bin at the museum to accept toy donations. You can drop off an unwrapped toy by December 15 and we’ll make sure it is included with the Fire Department’s delivery to the Salvation Army.

We’re ready for your Christmas shopping adventure and stocked with everything aviation related, including books by local authors. You can even pick up a gift certificate in the amount of your choosing or how about one for a Tiger Moth ride next summer.

Mahogany Plane Models
In conjunction with our supplier we are able to offer our members* a discount of 40% on our mahogany planes - 30% for non-members!

There are 35 different models in stock for you to choose from!

Our remaining inventory, except Christmas ornaments, is at 20% off for members* – 10% for non-members.

Christmas ornaments – our members* will enjoy their standard 10% discount.

*”members” includes current annual personal members.

Save the Date – Aviation Days 2020

Plans have already started for our annual Aviation Days taking place May 30 and 31, 2020. We will be calling for volunteers in the new year to help put on this exciting event. If you want to get in on the ground floor and help on the organizing committee, give the office a call. Next year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever!

Individual ($40) and Family* ($75) memberships provide

access to visit the museum free of charge
a 10% discount in our Gift Shop.

Corporate Memberships – New for 2020!

Spread the word! Corporate Memberships are now available to our business community. Expanding our membership base will provide additional awareness and funds for the ongoing operations of the museum.

A Corporate membership for $250 will include 10 complementary museum passes to be used by their employees, customers, or family.

The deadline has been extended, if a corporate membership is purchased before December 31, 2019, the company’s name will be entered into a draw for one of two rides in our vintage Tiger Moth bi-plane in the spring or summer of 2020.
