Our work at Jersey Hospice Care is made possible because of you and people like you whose generosity ensures that we can continue to offer our services free of charge.

As we enter a new year, our journey continues. We continue to seek to mould and shape your Hospice so that it is fit for the future and part of an island's health system that ensures high quality palliative care is part of all healthcare services, from community to hospital setting, irrespective of diagnosis, irrespective of age.

On behalf of the entire team at Hospice and, more importantly our patients and their families, thank you for your support.

Registration is now open for the 2020 Christmas Tree Collections

Disposing of your old tree can be really inconvenient. Cutting it up, taking it to the tip, the mess in the car thanks to all those pine needles, it can drive even a Christmas saint to distraction! Thanks to this tree-mendous initiative, you’ll never have to worry about disposing of your unwanted Christmas tree again. Simply sign up for us to take it away, in return for a donation, for it to be tree-cycled and all the hassle will be gone!

Santa Dash

Thank you so much to everyone who took part in the Mitchell's Santa Dash 2019. Nearly 200 Santas took to the streets of St Helier to raise money for Jersey Hospice Care and we are delighted to see this event grow year on year. Take a dip for Jersey Hospice Care with one of two swims

Traditionally held by The Old Smugglers Inn at Ouaisne, this swim is always very popular. Head down to Ouaisne Slip for 10.20 on Christmas morning for an early dip before your festivities begin! This swim is raising money for Jersey Hospice Care and JSPCA Animal Shelter. Warm refreshments will be served afterwards in The Old Smugglers Inn as a reward for your bravery! Thank you to the Old Smugglers Inn for organising this on our behalf.

The second swim of the day takes place at The Watersplash, St Ouen (weather permitting). They will be meeting at 10:30 and in the water for three minutes. Then everyone is invited into the Splash to warm up from 11:00. This Swim is raising money for Healing Waves and Jersey Hospice Care. Thank you to the Jersey Surfboard Club for organising this swim.

For one night only, you are invited to wear your best wedding outfit!

Dust off your wedding dress, send the Kilt to the cleaners, brush down that bridesmaid dress, find a suit or pick out your favourite wedding guest outfit! You are cordially invited to a fundraiser with a difference, My Big Fat Hospice Wedding Reception.

Enjoy drinks on arrival and a delicious three course meal. Entertainment will be provided by Little Black Dress.

We are proud to present the very first Hospice 2 Hospice half marathon road race!

Run through the beautiful west of the island in our inaugural half marathon. The race is open to individuals or a relay team of two.

The date ties in perfectly for anyone who is training for the Virgin Money London Marathon, as it takes place four weeks before. It is also 12 weeks into the year, perfect for anyone wanting to kick start the New Year by getting fit.
