Introducing my new . . .

William Morris Collection

As a long-time admirer of William Morris (1834 – 1896), the renown designer of home furnishings, I was delighted to find contemporary fabrics in some of his designs. He is generally acknowledged as the father of the Arts & Crafts movement, in America and in England, designing wallpapers, fabrics, furniture and more. More history via the link above.

Here is, perhaps, his most famous quote, which I struggle to follow.

                                Have nothing in your house
which you do not know to be useful
                         or believe to be useful

                                     ~ William Morris 1880

From my new William Morris Secret Pocket Collection:
These are going to make great gifts. Midweek I just did a small, popup, fine craft boutique and these were very popular.

Friday evening, come on out and enjoy some Holiday cheer at Art Works Downtown. It's a great opportunity to do a bit of gift shopping. All the artists have gift goodies in their studios for you to enjoy and share.

Most of all Have a Wonderful Holiday Season!
