MAKING CHRISTMAS SPECIAL

There has been a great response to this year's Cuala Christmas appeal.

We have 35 families already signed up and buying presents for women and children who are homeless in Dublin this Christmas.

They are willing to double up to get to our target but if there are just six more then we have hit our target.

If there are eleven more we can go beyond the initial hope and make the festive season special for another group.

The first step is to register and then our team will be in touch with the specific ages and gifts that we have been asked to supply.

Honestly the feeling you get from giving is like winning the County Championship.  Make someone's Christmas special today.  If you are registered before 5 pm today you will get your email then.  We will be collecting all the presents next Tuesday night for delivery.

SANTA'S LITTLE HELMETS

If Santa is looking for a little guidance on what the kids might want under the tree, Mycro will be at Dalkey on Saturday morning with a wide range of helmets, gloves and all sorts.

Dear Cuala Member,

On behalf of the club, I would like to wish you and yours a very merry Christmas and 2020 that brings you everything you might wish for.

It has been another great year for the club winning County Championships at Senior Hurling, U21 Football and U14 Ladies Football.

We have come together to support the Drummond family in their hour of need and we have come together as friends as well as clubmates to do the OsKars and so much more.

It's in the smallest of things that we do for each other that we find out who we are as a community.  It is a pleasure to be part of such a great club.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

DUBLIN CONVENTION

Our warmest congratulations to one of our own Ken O'Sullivan who was elected to become Deputy Chair of the Dublin County Board at last night's convention.

Ken has been a stalwart of the club as Secretary to the Juvenile Boys and the Coiste, as well as through his occasional role as an unimpeachable umpire at matches.

He deserves the accolade at County level and we wish him all the best for his term of office.

All our pitches are closed from Saturday to January 20th.  It is important to give them a break so please no early new year training out on the grass.

SEAN DRUMMOND FUNDRAISING

Con O'Callaghan handed over a cheque this week to Conor Mulally of the #Support for Drummo campaign.  It was for €15,000 representing the return on the auction of his 'five in a row' shirt.

There was a great story about the campaign and the ongoing need to keep raising money for Drummo which you can read right here.
