Another great book for a book club is  The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah that has FINALLY come out in paperback. St martin's Griffin $17.99 EX-POW vet with PTSD and nightmares tries to adjust to life in the states with his wife and daughter. Hearing that he has inherited a homestead in Alaska from a fellow POW, they head up there to start their life anew. The harsh realities of living in off-the-grid Alaska in the 1970's and the natural beauty and comraderie of fellow settlers are wonderfully addressed. Could not put it down and "almost finished" in one sitting...
