Trainers, keep up the excellent work!
Thank you to those of you who were able to attend the Pioneers event in October, for those who couldn't make it here's a blog summarising the event. Pioneers is an opportunity for trainers to network, socialise and to hear about any news or updates that we'd like to share with you all in person. The next event will be held in April 2020, date and venue TBC, so keep an eye out; we hope you can make it. Included below are a few updates and reminders from us.
Resources:
- On our website, we have created a Documents tab on the Trainer/Consultant page, containing many key documents that we're regularly asked for. Take a look here

- We wanted to reiterate a potential CL resource that we spoke about a while ago, in the form of a co-facilitator. We think that enabling current trainers to add more capacity, as well as enabling new facilitators/trainers to get some extra experience under their belt could be beneficial to both. Please read our Co-Facilitator blog for more information, and contact info@carbonliteracy.com if you would like to get involved.

- In case you weren't already aware, when you are searching for images to use in your training, there is a function on Google/Ecosia images which lets you filter the licence. This lets you search for images specifically 'labelled for reuse' or 'free to share and use' meaning you will only see ones without copyright issues, leaving you free to include in your training.

- If you choose to include a documentary or film in your Carbon Literacy training day as part of the climate science section, have you considered David Attenborough's latest collaboration with the BBC, Climate Change - The Facts? It presents a concise and up to date view of the science that we are currently working with, and exemplifies the need for more ambitious carbon neutrality targets globally.

- Lastly, if you're looking for a great video to inspire some significant individual actions, have a look at this short clip showing Christina Figueres give a quick rundown of top tips for a healthier environment.

- Trainer Tip of the Month: Individual Action idea to expand on during training - using your voice and voting power to choose the best policies for action on climate change.

✓ Please join our LinkedIn group detailed below if you haven't already, it is a great place to converse with other trainers, as well as being a useful resource to post on in if you're looking to sit in on training.

✓ When conducting a Carbon Literacy course, please try to take a photo. This could be submitted with evidence or included in a social media post with a link/tag to us - helping to show the range of Carbon Literacy training taking place.

✓ Check out the hashtag #CLresource on Twitter for useful and topical resources which can be used during your training.

✓Below is a useful infographic which can be used during training sessions to reflect the most up-to-date Carbon Literacy statistics
