Cultivating Gratitude and Joy


Today, I want you to consider joy in changing your mindset about life, health, and happiness.  As we approach this Christmas, think about ways to keep your mind focused on the things from above.  Here are 5 very practical ways to do this:
  1. Thank God every time you have a good nutritious meal to eat.
  2. Think of ways to help and serve others often.  With this comes a shift in your focus from helping yourself to helping others.
  3. Continue to ask God for help when you need it.
  4. Praise God for giving you strength when you make good choices.
  5. Find joy and pleasure in God’s goodness and love all through your day.
Biblical Perspective:
It is good to focus on things from above.

Bible Verse:
Colossians 3:2
"Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth."
