2019 celebration dinner party on Sunday 29th December for Lohana members
We have had a very successful year for our Community events hosted this year. This is mainly due to the hard work and support from our Community members, and voluntary work from our Committee Members, their families and many other supporters. The invite below has been sent out by post to all members, and an RSVP is requested latest by 24th December 2019 so we can plan seating and catering arrangements. New website launched for Lohana Community Complex, P V Raichura Centre
We have recently launched a new website at www.LohanaComplex.org.uk for our halls hire, to describe Facilities available, Hire Charges, various decor & setup options with photos, Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section, Terms & Conditions, etc. Have a look - all feedback appreciated. Vegetarian Types definition
Lohana Community South London & Raghuvanshi Association are proud to have launched and progressed an important project to define Vegetarian Types in UK - see the types in the diagram alongside. The key objective of the project is to agree Vegetarian food definitions with the Croydon University Hospital, Croydon Council and Care Homes / Schools in Croydon, so that the right food content and preparation methods can be guaranteed when Hindus are served the food in hospitals, etc. See the website at www.VegetarianUK.org for more details on the project.

We are also a leading organisation within Croydon Hindu Forum (CHF), which comprises 28 affiliated Hindu organisations in and around Croydon. We are all working together on projects like Vegetarian types, Hindu elderly luncheon clubs, Children's Yoga classes, reducing one time use of plastics, etc. See the CHF website at www.CroydonHinduForum.org.uk for more details.
LCSL Table Tennis Club
We operate a Table Tennis club for adult members - ladies and gents - on Tuesday evenings at our hall. The sessions are from 8:00pm to 9:30pm and we have two tables available.
