Our mission is to create a place to encounter Jesus. Steeped in love and Catholic teachings, we provide strong academics to foster continual learning in mind and spirit.

Dear SJB Families,

Thank you for joining us at our elementary Christmas program on Friday. It truly was a beautiful night as we watched our kids shine with all they have been learning during music classes this fall as well as the work they put into the dramatic elements of the performance. Special thanks to all who helped make this night wonderful, especially Mrs. Lucic, our music teacher, Mrs. Colling, our 5th/6th grade teacher, all of our teachers and staff, and the many hands that helped with the stage and preparing treats for the evening!

Today we begin the third week of Advent. During assembly on Monday, we will light the rose-colored candle on our Advent wreath. This candle symbolizes anticipation and rejoicing. During the third week of Advent, we are filled with joy for the near arrival of Jesus on Christmas day.

This Wednesday, December 18 from 1:00 pm until 7:00 pm, we will have priests in the Church hearing confessions.  We will also have the Blessed Sacrament exposed for adoration. Our third through sixth-grade students will have the opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation. We invite you to come as well!

On Thursday, we will pray the Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary together, as we ponder what our Blessed Mother's and St. Joseph's journey must have been like as they anticipated the coming of Jesus!

Friday we will gather together to play games and enjoy a treat from the Knights of Columbus. Later we will watch our preschool program, which is sure to bring delight to us all.

On Friday, students are also welcome to wear holiday wear (red, green, etc) in line with our non-uniform guidelines.

Saints Squad News

Change Coming...
As of January 2020, the Saints Squad Before and After School Care policies and procedures have changed slightly. These changes were decided upon by the SJB staff, and School Advisory Council. We hope that through these new policies and procedures we can better serve our families that use the before and after care service and create a safer program for our kids. Please look for the new handbook when you pick up/drop off your child.

Saints Squad this Friday
Saints Squad will close early at 5 pm this Friday in order for students and staff to prepare for the Christmas Program.

Come Cheer on the Saints!

Winter Recess Prep
Our kids love to play in the snow! This means they often come in from recess with wet socks, and sometimes wet pants even when wearing snow pants. It is a good idea for each student to keep a change of socks and pants in their lockers. We want our kids to be comfortable and warm while at school. Unfortunately, even our extra supplies are running low!

Please remember to wash and return any borrowed items from the school.
