“If music be the food of love, play on.” – William Shakespeare

Letter from the Director

Dear Students and Families,

Happy New Year!

Thanks to all of our students & families we have now reached 250 music students! What a great start to the new year.

I'm so excited to see what 2020 brings to the studio. We are in the initial planning phases of our big end of the semester dance recital right now and one of the things we're planning is to have live music featured for some of the dances. After I meet with the dance department, I'll send home information on auditions to play at the shows! We also have a theater production coming up in March which will have live music opportunities.

We are adding two new instructors this month, Lee Heerspink and Brad Crossland! It's always inspirational to have new musicians joining the team and adding their energies to our lesson program. We are having an open house from 2-4pm this Saturday, January 11 to introduce Brad to our drum students and welcome him to the team.

As always, if you have any questions feel free to ask Nichol at the music desk. Office hours are Monday through Thursday 1pm - 7pm. You can reach me at the number or email below anytime.

Best Regards,
Rich Burkholder
