Upcoming Programs Presented at Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center

WILLISTON, N.D. – The public is invited to these upcoming events at the Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center near Williston. All events are free and open to the public. All times are Central time.

Jan. 16 Confluence History Book Club, 7 p.m. Join history buffs in a discussion of this month's selected book, “A Land Remembered” by Patrick Smith. Free refreshments.

Jan. 17-18 Confluence Sewing and Quilting, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. The group will be working on a long Christmas stocking with pocket.  All experience levels invited and instruction provided. Bring your own lunch.

Jan. 19 Concert at the Confluence, 3 p.m. Free concert featuring Kalie Rider, singer-songwriter and member of the folk-rock band Gettin’ Outta Dodge.

Jan. 25 Historical Sewing at the Confluence, 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. The group will be sewing 1900s era chemises. Bring your own lunch.

The Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center is part of Fort Buford State Historic Site managed by the State Historical Society of North Dakota. Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center hours: daily, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., and Fort Buford is closed.
