Year End Tax Donations
Benefit Jackson SUN!

This winter, we are asking you to extend your generosity and support to Jackson’s SUN School. SUN is a crucial part of the Jackson community because it provides programming and family support that cannot be found anywhere else in the SW area. Without SUN, many middle schoolers would be on their own after school, leaving them more vulnerable to bullying and risky behaviors, such as substance use. SUN provides a positive and caring environment for students to get homework help, learn a new skill, build friendships, and make meaningful connections with adults.

In addition to offering after-school enrichment, SUN operates a food pantry, coordinates a winter break gift and food drive, holds multiple community events each year, and offers ESL classes for adults.  We also support key after-school programs, such as the school theater program, jazz band, and various lunch clubs. SUN programming is a crucial part of Jackson's vibrant community, helping the school more equitably serve its population.

Due to the contraction of grants available, SUN School at Jackson is now operating with 75% of their prior year’s budget. You can help maintain equity at our school with your tax-deductible donations. Funds are used for bus expenses (which dramatically increase access to all students), instructors, snack costs, and program supplies.

We will also gratefully accept checks payable to Impact NW and sent to the Jackson office. Receipts happily provided.
