PUT A SMILE ON A CHILD'S FACE

Many St. Louis kids will go gift-less this holiday season. To help with this issue we have set up a Toys For Tots Toy Supply Drive.

Donations can be made to Santa's Sleigh in the 3rd Floor Lobby (near console) now until Friday, December 13th. All donations will be distributed by the St. Louis Fire Department to less fortunate families.

In addition to this drive, we are also accepting small clothing donations for children at Lift for Life Gym in St. Louis. This center provides a safe place for children to stay in-between their time at school and home.

For more information about these drives, please contact Property Administrator Ryan Murphy.
OUR BEST DRIVE EVER

Last week's American Red Cross Blood Drive results are in! Our wonderful participants donated enough blood to help save up to 135 lives! That's the highest amount ever collected in our building during a single blood drive! Way to make this drive such a success!

Our next drive will be Wednesday, March 4th, 2020.

BEAT THE FREEZE

Feeling the winter chills at work? Maybe your blood isn't circulating as well as it should be. Here are few office exercises/stretches to help get your blood moving:
  • Seated Leg Raises - Sit upright in your office chair. Straighten your left leg so it is parallel to the floor, and hold it in place for10 seconds. Repeat with right leg. Perform 15 reps with each leg.
  • Chair Dips- Scoot up to the very front edge of your chair, place your legs out in front of you, and place your hands on either side of your hips, fingers pointing toward your desk. Make sure your chair is secure and won't roll away. Grasp the edges of the chair with both hands, and use your core and arms to raise your body up off the chair and then down so your rear goes as close to the floor as possible. Push yourself back up, and repeat 15 times.
  • Water Bottle Free Weights - Reach for two filled water bottles. Using these as weights, do three sets of overhead presses for 15 reps. Then do three sets of arm curls for 20 reps.
  • Wearing knee high compression socks and/or elevating your feet with a stool can help keep blood circulating, too!
Hope these tips help to keep you warm and cozy while at work.
