LOST & FOUND - CIRCLES

A series of remembering cool tricks, tips and techniques

I'm really crunching the E-News this week (well, yesterday!) and needed some quick techniques that you may have forgotten.

I was trolling YouTube recently and saw a cool card using packing tape and glitter which is the card shown below.  Click it for the link.  My packing tape wasn't wide enough, so when I pieced it over the circle (of course) it wrinkled, but you get the idea.  I love this technique and can't believe I have no recall of it at all (that's a bit worrisome).

I bought a 12x12 paper pad at Michael's with a 40% coupon and found it worked great for some of my card designs!

Here's another use of a circle made to resemble an ornament.  So cute!
And here's a corner circle diecut idea!  Love the layers on this card and my trusty A Muse Studio diecut deer!  Again, I used papers from the Michael's paper pad.
I found a nice piece of background paper waiting to be used for something and my little triangle Christmas trees were a perfect choice!  Instead of a star (I didn't have a punch or diecut), I punched a regular hole punch with glittery paper.  Gold paint splatters filled in the background nicely.

Have a pleasant week!

XOXO
