Happy holidays! We wish you the best this season and the greatest successes for the new year. Florida Dance Theatre is excited to present the story of The Nutcracker during the 2019 holiday season. This annual production is a part of Florida Southern College’s Festival of Fine Arts Series. Join us for a magical December unlike any other.
 
December 12^th 10:30am: Special performance of The Nutcracker for students in Polk County schools. Tickets are $8 (1 hour performance) 
 
December 12^th 6pm: A Night of Holiday Magic

For the first time Florida Dance Theatre in partnership with Florida Southern College will host an evening exclusively for children from local orphanages and group homes to present a memorable experience. Children will sit down to enjoy a performance of The Nutcracker, then each receive a present from the toy drive FDT held from September- November of 2019. FDT friends and families selected names from our Wish tree, purchased and wrapped gifts to give our special guests.
 
*December 13^th 6pm: Taste of The Sweets, An evening of tasty treats and a full performance of The Nutcracker.

Join Clara, The Sugar Plum Fairy and friends for a special evening of tasty treats and a journey through the land of the Sweets. Enjoy delicious cookies, little cakes, story time with Clara, photo time with characters of the ballet and then sit down to an epic performance. December 14^th & December 15^th:  The Nutcracker
Along with a cast of talented students from across Central Florida, Florida Dance Theatre performs The Nutcracker on the Branscomb Auditorium stage. On December 14^th at 7:30pm and December 15^th at 2:30pm, don’t miss one of Polk County’s holiday treasures. Admission is $25 for adults and $15 for children.
