Our featured speaker, Mark Thomas, PhD, director of the Medical Discovery Team on Addiction at the University of Minnesota, a new collaborative research program to discover new treatment options for Opioid-Use Disorder. His research examines how addictive drugs alter the brain and how these changes can lead to compulsive drug use. His lab is now focusing on ways to disrupt addiction relapse.

Traditional American breakfast will be served with coffee or tea.

We will have a table with candles and pictures of loved ones, who passed away as a result of addiction.  You are welcome to bring a picture to remember your loved one.  Please email us their name in advance.
