  • Submit services/activities in SCRIBE and provide Request for Reimbursement Packet to Business Managers 
  • *Moved from November* Distribute 21st Century Certificates to all seventh-grade GU students and to any newly- identified GU eligible students
DATA STEWARDS:
  • Add Enrollment for the month of December
  • Identify GEAR UP Eligible Students
  • Exit students 
  • Enter PSAT 8/9 and/or PSAT 10 & NMSQT (11th) Scores

Wisdom Jr/Sr High School College Trip
From Wisdom Jr/Sr High School:

About 20 Wisdom students attended a college trip tour down state on the Valley Unified bus. A thank you to MELMAC and GEAR UP for providing the funds for the trip. A special shout-out to Wisdom alumnus Alyssa Banville, who stopped by to catch up with old friends. Way to represent Pioneer Pride. #ValleyUnified
PD OPPORTUNITIES

Workshop:
Trauma Informed Readiness and Response Planning

Application for Individual School Participation 

When: Friday, January 24th, 2020

Time: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Lunch is provided)

Location: University of Maine, Wells Conference Center, Orono.

This is a grant funded opportunity for schools to receive guided support in the development of their individualized emergency plans for a trauma free and trauma responsive environment. Funding for this opportunity is available for up to 65 teams, and can include covering the costs of travel and substitutes for the day. An application and commitment to attend are required; these will be accepted until December 20th, 2019.

Creating Great Job Candidates

Vision:  Every student can work and is ready before they exit school.  School-to-Work that really works to launch all students into the Workforce.  Focus on adopting individualized employment goals leading to IEP content, creating individualized community based work experiences, Discovery and Job Development while still in school, informing and working with families, training special education aides and others to support students in work experience, and all members of the student’s team involved in employment pursuits, landing jobs before exiting school.

Registration Fees: Cost is $100 per person which includes materials, morning coffee & lunch. If you are registering as part of a group of 3 or more contact noelle@syntiro.org for a discount.
