What? No special catalogue of old and unusual books this holiday season? 

     At our latest incarnation (1067 Bloor W.), there’s so much to choose from that we honestly don’t know where to begin. To highlight all the deserving books and ephemera currently weighing our shelves — the fascinating, the uncommon, the just plain lovely — would make for a very long catalogue indeed. Probably best if you just come see for yourself.

What's a Graphic Salvage Pack?



     A collection of one dozen vintage images, carefully harvested by the Monkey’s Paw from damaged or disbound old books, and sealed in a vellum envelope. Every image is unique, and has been chosen for its piquant visual impact; each is at least six decades old, and most are far older.
     The Graphic Salvage Packs have been assembled with an eye to maximum variety, but their specific contents must remain a secret until the seal is broken. What magical harmonies, or startling contrasts, might yours contain?

     We’re happy to announce that our signature book bag is finally back in stock. It's stout enough to haul 12 kilos of vintage books at once, and sufficiently roomy to carry six cabbages home from the market (yes, we’ve tested). We like to think the message is kinda cool, too.
