GREENSBORO, NC (December, 2019) – On Saturday, December 14, 2019 from 9-11 AM, The Greensboro Jaycees will partner with The Salvation Army of Greensboro’s Boys and Girls Club to take a group of 25 children to the Target on New Garden RD for a Christmas shopping spree. This is our 4th annual event with The Greensboro Jaycees.
During this holiday season, The Salvation Army of Greensboro’s Boys and Girls Club is honored to work together in Doing The Most Good® in order to fulfill childhood Christmas wishes by the generosity of organizations here in Greensboro such as The Greensboro Jaycees and Target, who will be providing gifts tax free.
Captain Matt Hedgren, Corps Officer for the Greensboro Command said, “When the Greensboro Command has the opportunity to come together with local and national organizations such as The Greensboro Jaycees and Target, we know that fighting for good becomes infinitely more successful! Our desire here at The Salvation Army is to do the most good in this season of giving and cheer.”
Porshè Chiles, Greensboro Jaycees Project Coordinator says, "We are excited for this opportunity to serve with our Greensboro community, in supporting local families."
