Become a Buddy Volunteer with Forest Farm Peach Garden
Training Dates: Friday 31st January & 7th February 2020 


     

Forest Farm Peace Garden are recruiting Buddy Volunteers to provide one-to-one support at the garden, help with the general running of the ecotherapy sessions and perhaps lead or co-lead a workshop or activity.

Are you interested in creative & digital industries?

 

One Place Creative is an exciting new project that increases the involvement of people with disabilities, lived experience of mental ill health and long term conditions living in Redbridge. Maximising the potential of our community and breaking down barriers to inclusion is our goal. You do not need any experience, all we ask for is an interest and some creativity.

This is your chance to learn new skills, make new friends, meet professional working in the industry, and in the long term get a job or start a business.

Places are limited so register now to avoid disappointment. You must be aged 18-64 and unemployed/on disability benefits.

Disability Rights UK are looking for Mystery Shoppers with a Disability

Disability Rights UK are working with a major retailer in order to support them to better cater for their disabled customers. As part of this, we are looking for disabled people with a range of impairments to mystery shop their stores! They are looking for people with any of the following impairments:
- A visual impairment and uses a guide dog
- A visual impairment but don't use a guide dog
- A hearing impairment 
- A wheelchair user
- A mobility impairment but not a wheelchair user
- A neurodiverse condition

They are offering participants £40 vouchers for participating. The store you mystery shop can be local to you. The mystery shop needs to be completed by January 3rd 2020.
