Elf on the Shelf Contest

Through Saturday, December 21st. Find the Elf at each participating Cheney merchant and have your map stamped. Turn in your completed map to Marketplace Restaurant by December 21st to be entered into a drawing for one of three $100 cash prizes! No purchase necessary. Winners will be announced Sunday, December 22nd.

Miracle on 34th Street

Friday (Dec 13) StageWest Community Theatre's Lux Radio Theatre’s Miracle on 34th Street; a readers’ theatre version with live sound effects as in the 1947 version. Enjoy the warmth and holiday cheer found in this favorite story, and answer the question; is there really a Santa Claus? $15 adults; $10 Seniors 55+; $5 Students w/ID;

Special Dinner Theatre performance December 14th. (reservations required by December 11th) $30 per person.

Frosted Holiday Trees

Friday (Dec 13) 3:30 - 5:30 pm at the Cheney Library, 610 1st Street.
Add frosting and decorate your own edible holiday tree using an ice cream cone! We provide the supplies. You can create a delicious masterpiece, while supplies last. Children and Tweens (and their parents too) 8 and under must bring an adult.

2019 Cheney Festival of Trees

Through Saturday, December 21st. Fabulously decorated trees from our local merchants with amazing items, each trees’ goodies are valued in the hundreds of dollars. You could win one! How?
 
Stop in at Marketplace Restaurant & Amish Store, 1011 1st Street to buy your raffle tickets and put them in the box next to the tree or trees you would like to win. Raffle tickets are $1.00 each. The more you buy, the better your chances to win. The drawing will be held during a Facebook live stream on the evening of Saturday, December 21st.

Cheney Firefighters Annual Candy Cane Ride

Saturday (Dec 14) 4:30 - 7:45 pm. Cheney Fire Fighters’ Local 1919 crews take their fire trucks and Santa throughout Cheney with music and Ho, Ho Ho's and hand out candy canes. Use this link to the City's Candy Cane Ride map with approximate times for your neighborhood. Bring out the kids of all ages to enjoy this unique Cheney holiday tradition.
