January 6, 2020 at 6p.m. - Starr King Unitarian Universalist Fellowship - Community Power: What Could Community Choice Aggregation Look Like in our Region? In 2019, NH SB-286 was adopted. This bill offers a number of exciting energy possibilities for our region and our communities. Henry Herndon of Clean Energy NH will offer an explanation of the enabling legislation and how it could be implemented locally. For example, NH communities can cooperate on implementation, with the potential for cost-savings, energy-efficiency, and development of local renewable energy sources. The Pemi Climate Emergency Coalition (PCEC) invites the greater Plymouth/Pemi-Baker community to a community screening of “Before the Flood” on Sunday, January 12 at 6:30 PM at the Flying Monkey Movie House and Performance Center at 39 S. Main St, Plymouth. The 2016 National Geographic film is narrated by actor Leonardo DiCaprio as he travels to sites around the globe to bring viewers in touch with the climate emergency.
