Happy Holidays!  I hope this email finds you in a peace filled joyous state after your celebrations so far.  I wanted to drop a quick letter to update you a bit about the goings on at Yoga Experience.

First, the volunteers that helped on Tuesday were AMAZING!  They deconstructed the studio in lightning speed.  What a super supportive community Yoga Experience is.  Thank you so much!

As I write this, I still don’t have confirmation on when I can begin the move upstairs.  The current tenant is still in there, and has a right to be in there until 12/31.   I am hoping she vacates sooner, but I am planning on it not being before that as I haven’t heard from her otherwise.  This leaves us in a bit of a hurry up and wait situation.

As soon as I hear of a move date, the list of folks who have volunteered to help with the move will be notified with an email from Grace.  She will give you the exacts once she gets them from me.  Until then, we still have classes in the current space.  I have just confirmed with the landlord that my current space has not yet been rented, so we are welcome to practice in there for a week or two as needed while construction is taking place upstairs.  This is fantastic news as it allows all of us to keep up our practice with relatively little down time.  Yay!

Here is the timeline as it stands at this writing.  Remember this could change at any moment, and you will be notified by email of the changes..

  • Saturday 12/28~ Regularly scheduled classes
  • Monday 12/30~ Regularly scheduled classes
  • Tuesday 12/31~ Special Holiday class 10:15-11:30 a.m.
    *Potential Moving Day after class*
  • Wednesday 1/1/20~ Studio Closed for New Year’s Day
  • Thursday 1/2~ Construction begins on new studio
  • Thursday 1/2~ Saturday 1/4~ Regularly scheduled classes in CURRENT STUDIO, (except Aerial Yoga). Studio also open for private bookings at the normal times.

I really wish I could give you more exact dates for things, but as with much of life, this is a lesson in patience, flexibility, pausing and breathing!  I thank you for your patience during this transition.  I am reminded of a favorite quote of mine.

I look forward to seeing you in classes the rest of this month and year!

Namaste,

Tracy
