Marion County continues their efforts to add jobs and momentum to our economy. An incentive package of nearly 10 Million dollars was approved recently to bring a major distribution hub from Dollar Tree to the new Florida Crossroads Commerce Park. Located adjacent to the Marion Oaks community, this will be an immense help for those residents, as well as nearby neighborhoods in the Southwest like Ocala Waterway and Kingsland Country. Also, just a short drive to the East on Highway 484 lies Belleview and Summerfield. Land is already being cleared for the 1.7 million square foot facility and should be completed by the end of 2020. That's no typo. This will be the second largest distribution center in our county and will add about 700 new jobs. And this is just the start of businesses coming to the new commerce park.
