SAILING NEWS @ MYC

eTelltale #143
The families rostered on the water this Sunday are McKenzie, Jackson, James, Taylor, Hart & Ryan.
You may have noticed the new flag pole attached to the fence near the cranes, the pole has a 'W' flag attached to it to indicate that a boat is 'on water'. Any sailor(s) going afloat without a support vessel (RIB) MUST raise the flag prior to launching, and drop the flag upon return.
We have placed this flag so that it is visible from the bar and round to the back of the yard with the idea that people check on the safety of the vessel afloat before leaving the club.
Additionally you're able to see the flag raised, on the weather cam from certain wind directions.

We would appreciate the support of all members in the use of this flag for their own safety, and assistance looking out for those who're on water without a support vessel.
Race Registrations still required...
Please follow this link to complete entry forms.
Those who race without completed forms will be listed here next week.
Well done to Zac Heyes who won Sail Sydney in the 29er fleet, well done to Lily & Tilda Richardson who also competed in the 29er fleet, and to Sam Savage who raced in the Laser Radial.

This weekend we have a fun race planned, with no regatta's and lovely weather forecast we to see everyone for a sail.

The final Speedy Schnappers for this block is on tonight. Please meet Lochy at the platform at 5pm.

Merry Christmas to all!
Safe travels & fair racing to all competing in nationals & youth nationals this Christmas period. Good luck to those parents competing in the Sydney-Hobart!!!

SUNDAY MORNING ROSTER:  Click here to see the roster
Last year many people made the suggestion of a roster for Sunday racing, so we have tried our best to create a roster that is balanced, gets everyone on the water, but also doesn't rely too heavily on one or two people. Please look at this, please add in dates you can do, if there is a date that you are rostered down for please swap it with someone and put their name in the sheet.
Each week I will include in the TellTale who is rostered on for the Sunday morning.
