We have been invited to host an event at Taqueria Guadalajara on Monday Jan. 6th at 6pm & we couldn't be more honored. We will be there with Lisa Bell of LK Wine Tours and Sales starting at 6pm. Andeluna's export manager will be there, too. Taqueria Guadalajara will be pairing small plates with 5 or 6 different wines. This is our next selection for The Murphy Beverage Co. Winchester Book Gallery Wine & Book club. Just Kids, Patty Smith Robert Mapplethorpe and one of the most important time periods in art & music in modern times. The story that took my breath away was an encounter Patty had with Janis Joplin. I won't spoil it, but this book was the story of my times. We only meet 4 times a year and our next meeting is on Wednesday Jan 8th at 6pm. It's $10.00. Murphys pairs the wines with the books and they are available at discounts for anyone that is interested. At each meeting, we nominate books for our next meeting. This ain't your Momma's book club. There is only one rule in book club, you have to buy the book at the Book Gallery!
